Our partners

The Roof of Africa is a small grassroots charity, with no paid UK staff, the UK team of trustees and founder run the charity providing guidance and support to the local management team in Tanzania who run the Roof of Africa school and provide community support on a daily basis. Since the charity was registered in 2017, we want to ensure we partner with like-minded organisations who support the vision of ending the cycle of poverty in whichever form that brings. As the charity grows, we’ll be delighted to share the organisations we have agreed to partner with.

We are delighted to welcome our first partner – Haus of Conservation (www.hausofconservation.org). This organisation is based on one thing – conservation. You may think that just means the planet, but in actual fact it means everyone and everything on the planet. So, The Haus of Conservation ethos of Be kind to animals, the planet, each other and yourself, is one we truly understand.

Haus of Conservation Mantra

Is simple and precise:

AWARENESS - bringing attention to animal, environmental, marine and human conservation issues through well-being and creative arts to educate and empower the individual to create positive change for all life.

WELLBEING - for entire planet and all it’s inhabitants. Connecting people to the complexed world of conservation through yoga, meditation, movement and wellness activities. Without a healthy planet and all the creatures on it our wellbeing is non existent.

ARTS - Inspiring people through creative arts such as: performance art, dance, theatre, art and music to not only educate the audience or participant on the conservation subject, but also to give them the knowledge to create positive change…

VEGANISM - education on a kinder lifestyle for all life on earth. One that promotes non violence and seeks to end exploitation of all living beings and the earth it’s self…

GIVE BACK - All our initiatives give back to conservation through education and awareness, with the aim improving the wellbeing for all involved and financially contributing towards: charities, sanctuaries and conservation projects.

If we take the above for The Roof of Africa, its included in the work that we carry out and the teaching the children receive. By doing the above, we empower the next generation to break the cycle of poverty and create their own opportunities to develop sustainability.
