Catherine is in Primary 3, she has a supportive family but they struggle as they don’t have any guaranteed income, selling bananas and sugar canes at a day market. They are particularly grateful to The Roof of Africa for providing an education for Catherine, which they wouldn’t be able to afford.

Her academic performance is improving, and she is developing into an excellent storyteller.

Like many of the children, Catherine doesn’t have a bed nor a mosquito net.
