A new school, a united community, and 135 children who need our help.

The reputation of The Roof of Africa SCIO has travelled far and wide across Tanzania. As word spread about the difference our school and community programmes are making, we were approached by the Maasai community with a request to help build a new pre and primary school — The Roof of Africa Maasai School.

This is a true community effort. Local people have generously donated land, time and resources to help make their dream of a school a reality. Their commitment to giving their children a better future is inspiring.

But, like our other communities, the Maasai families are facing real challenges, and the extended school holidays mean children risk missing out on the regular meals they rely on during term time.

We have pledged to help provide food for all 135 pupils throughout the extended winter break, including the Christmas period. Now, we need your help to make it happen.

Every donation will help us provide essential food supplies, ensuring these children have the nourishment they need while school is closed.

🎄 Will you help us feed the children of the Maasai community this winter?

Together, we can support this remarkable community, protect the progress they have worked so hard to achieve, and help ensure that no child is forgotten this Christmas.

Donate today and help us put food on the table for 135 children.
